AL JAZEERA

This project aims to introduce a dynamic and intelligent reimagined look to a typical news studio. The studio incorporates several programs; a news show, weather forecast that uses  an unorthodox augumented reality globe to replace the typical weather screen, a sports  show and a talk show. Lights are used as the main design elements where they create  movement as they frame the space and the different panels and steps. The design of the  space was inspired by the Al Jazeera branding, including the colors and the logo, where the  main elements that were extracted are a fluid and futuristic design. These elements were  implement throughout the different design stages, from space planning, where the spac es are fluid with several curves as well as the design elements, such as the paneling that is  placed in front of the screens that mimic the curves found in the logo. The space does not  use many colors, as the dominating colors are white and gray, allowing the main attention to  be placed on the programs as well as the screens.
